Ellen Onieal and I have planned an awesome show today, with Cam Scholey. He is a recently retired university professor, author, and more. Cam has turned his tireless energies toward moving people forward through healing, forgiveness, and compassion for self and others. We will also have in studio

While Cam is here in Florida he is offering FREE Seminars on Compassionate Listening® a program designed to get to the HEART of communication. The intention of Compassionate Listening is to access our deepest wisdom to transform separation and conflict into an opportunity for connection, healing and peace. Compassionate listening is:
A healing gift – to offer a compassion to a person who feels marginalized or is in pain.
A personal practice – to cultivate inner strength, self-awareness, self-regulation and
wisdom.
A skill set – to enhance interpersonal relations and navigate challenging conversations.
A process – to bring individuals or groups together to bridge their differences and
transform conflict.

At our 38 Clubs in 5 counties, we serve the children who need us the most. Our Clubs are located in neighborhoods that, on average, rank at the 12th percentile for household income and the 71st percentile for incarceration rates. Our Club families pay either nothing or a nominal fee for their children to attend. By providing our Club members with academic support, extracurricular opportunities and positive adult role models, we aim to break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
