The Terrible Terrible Tiger
Our first guest called in from Utah about his late wifes dream of publishing a book that was a family tradition. A familial story that was repeated and handed down from father to children.
Lloyd Davis shares with us the story of the The Terrible, Terrible Tiger – a story that was told to Robin by her late father, John VanOrman. He told Robin and her siblings many stories. The story of The Terrible, Terrible Tiger was Robin’s favorite. In honor of her late father, Robin wanted to put the story into a children’s book and have it published.

My name is Chris Hattaway and I am running for Brevard County District 2 County Commissioner, which encompasses: Cocoa, Rockledge, Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and Patrick Space Force Base. I was born in Rockledge 40 years ago and have lived in Brevard County, currently in Rockledge, for my entire life.
I have been married to my wife Krystel for 17 years and we have 3 beautiful daughters: Addison age 15, Meredith age 10 and Violet age 6.
I have been a Law Enforcement Officer with the Cocoa Police Department for the last 10 years. Prior to that I was in the U.S. Army Reserves as an intelligence analyst with one tour in the Middle East.
Before serving in the Reserves, I worked for UPS and worked my way through the ranks starting as a package handler and moving up the ladder. I left UPS because I found myself wanting a job to fulfill the need of serving people.
I started listening to what other candidates had to say and how would they represent my family, and even more, how would they represent my daughter’s granddaughters? What kind of quality of life would they have? I quickly realized that no one was a voice for me and my family.
