Katrina Hudson, Director HCPS Office of Student Engagement
My sit down guest is Katrina Hudson Director, HCPS Office of Student Engagement, Positive Behavioral Hillsborough County. We will chat about education, trust, respect and opportunities for all students/staff no matter what zipcode they live in
Three prong approach to solving this issue involved everyone; parents, teachers and community. Whenever a “social Pandemic” happens, like what is happening in our schools – many people “throw their hands up” because they don’t know what to do! It takes time, patience and understanding to disect how to do better in our society and for our children.
Shavaun Scott, Author and Licensed Psyhcotherapist
My call in guest is Author Shavaun Scott ,she is a licensed psychotherapist in both California and Oregon, for over 30 years! “The Minds of Mass Killers” is a book that she wrote. She identifiies the myths of Mass Killers and how the pathways start and what the “fantasy life” becomes, and then the breach and attack for those that follow through.
The goals in her books are to interrupt the phase that people can be stopped from this tragedy. She authored another book called “Game Addiction”, and for us, there are a lot of challenges with this as well. Trying to get your childs attention away from the screen. Intervention is the key at every stage of the red flags and the 5 personality traits that are of concern.
It Takes A Village!
We love shows like this… where we can come up with solutions to help save our youngest generations. We need to demand respect and give love in the best of ways. What a great educational, interesting, thought provoking show!
